Some people just suspected unions were damaging our country…

…Now there’s blatant evidence their dangerous socialist rhetoric is not imagined but real.

Remember these are the unelected individuals that decide who our Prime Minister is, dictate the Labor Party, and make a mockery of the so-called “democratic” country we’re meant to live in.

Even former Labor leader Mark Latham said on Sky News Channel recently (I’m paraphrasing):

“People don’t realise it but the Labor Party is controlled by a dozen or so union secretaries who meet in secret at Chinese restaurants and dictate who’ll be pre-selected to run in seats, and even who our Prime Minister will be.”

A great example is the unions ludicrous reaction to the Gillard Government granting 1700 foreign workers permission to help build Roy Hill, a new mine owned by Australia’s most successful women, (and now listed as the world’s wealthiest women) Gina Rinehart.

A smart policy because we urgently need foreign workers to help build the mines.

There simply aren’t enough Australians willing to relocate to desolate mining areas for work. And without the urgent, temporary assistance of foreign workers, these projects will be delayed or never even get off the ground.

Or worse, put on hold. And Australia will continue to miss out on the once in a lifetime boom that may well be coming to an end, largely due to our high labour costs and low productivity.

As reported in the Wall Street Journal this week, out of all OECD countries Australia ranks second last on productivity improvement.

This is largely the result of… guess who?

Yep. The good ol’ lazy Australian unions, whose manifesto is take from the rich and not even give to the poor these days but rather spend it on themselves, on you know what.

Have these union leaders ever started a business?

Have they ever created a single cent of wealth for Australia?

Don’t they realise if it weren’t for wealth creators there would be no jobs for union members?

Don’t they realise workers would achieve more individually than with a union these days, because there are already plenty of laws protecting employees rights.

So much so it’s debatable whether Australia should even allow unions to exist anymore given their continued abuse of power and union member’s money, their damage to productivity, and rolling strikes ruining the last industry we have that’s keeping this country from a recession: the mining industry.

Personally, in my companies, I don’t have to deal with unions because I employ less than 100 staff in non-union controlled industries.

However if I did, I wouldn’t tolerate their dodgy, communist, stand-over tactics for a second. And I think more Australian companies need to take a stand against their abuses for the sake of our country and keeping Australians in jobs.

Unions have a history of destroying everything they touch because of their greed, and contempt for wealth creators, especially wealthy entrepreneurs.

They’re even destroying the Australian Labor Party who they try to dictate, demanding it serves their communistic agendas.

We no longer live in the industrial age, when large, industrialised monopolies could dominate workers rights, and exploit employees in slave like conditions.

We’re in the 21st Century now and need to ask the question:

Are unions even needed or relevant in this country anymore? Especially ones run by deluded, dodgy union leaders?

How’s this for a simple solution:

Give pay rises to non-union members.

That’s one sure-fire way to encourage workers to dump their unions.

Union membership is in decline anyway, so employees are already questioning why they should renew their union membership fee.

Listen, this is why Australians must take a stand against these deluded union leaders. Here are some of the quotes from AWU Union National Secretary Paul Howes in papers over the weekend:

“The policy made a mockery of AWU ally Treasurer Wayne Swan’s campaign of bashing mining magnates Clive Palmer, Gina Rinehart, and Andrew Forrest, and spreading the benefits of the boom”

“After months of the Government making it clear Gina Rinehart is our enemy, where is the consistency?”

What an overreaction! The Government is allowing Gina Rinehart to hire 1700 foreign workers on a temporary basis to help build a mine that will employ 6758 Australians on construction, including 2000 trainees.

And as soon as construction is finished it will have created 2000 permanent jobs for Australians

In fact, a condition of the mine getting financing was employing 1700 foreign workers.

Why? Because financiers don’t want to see expensive delays and blowouts in costs largely caused by Australian union’s constant interference and greed.

So if Mr Howes had his way, the mine wouldn’t be able to proceed at all. And almost 7000 Australians would not get a job in construction, and 2000 permanent Australian jobs would vanish.

Typical of greedy unions focused on their interests against the interests of Australian workers and the Australian economy.

Can you believe these words were stated publicly?

I mean they see the wealth creators; who have amazing success stories; who created empires from very little; who employ hundreds of thousands of Australians, and are helping this country take advantage of the mining boom… as the enemy of our country!

This is how deluded the individuals dictating how our country is run are.

Is it any surprise our country has the second lowest productivity increases out of all the OECD countries?

If it wasn’t for the mining boom we’d be another basket case economy, like most of the world is right now.

Isn’t Rinehart creating jobs that this little communist then dictates who she can employ?

The only reason foreign workers are needed (if Mr Howes ever left his city office and welfare union salary and got out into the real world) is:

Many Australians don’t want to leave the east coast to go work in the desert

Many don’t have the required skills that temporary foreign workers possess

There are already nearly 7000 Australians who’ll help with construction and there’s a tight labour market requiring remaining vacant positions be filled in order to get project off the ground so everyone benefits\\

Many Australians only like cushy east coast jobs

Ones like yours, Mr Howes. Where you add no value to society but are provided a welfare like union salary, and harbour clearly ignorant views about our great country.

Who elected you to dictate to our Prime Minister what she can and can’t do?

I don’t recall ever voting for you.

Who said you and your fellow union secretaries are meant to be running this country?

Who says you have the skill set to run a country and dictate to over 23 million Australians?

These people, like Mr Howes and company, are doing everything to destroy Australia’s future.

Not because they intend to, but because they are highly ignorant and have gotten into a position of power they haven’t earned.

And because they have deep-seated hatred of the rich, which is a pre-cursor to being a union dictator, it seems.

And they’re haters of the wealth creators of Australia too…

…Those who risk everything to be a success; employ hundreds of thousands and share their wealth as a result through salaries, taxes, superannuation, payroll and company taxes, personal taxes, GST, state mining royalties, and umpteen other taxes; and hope to be left with a profit after risking billions in capital; who boost the economy and add massive value.

Of course you don’t have to like these billionaires. But it’s not a popularity contest.

Where would Australia be without them?

Could a union controlled government build successful mining companies?

I doubt it.

They’d have the salaries raised to twice as much, and the mine going broke, until the country turned into a basket case like Greece.

Then who would they blame?

We all know.

They’d still blame the wealth creators when from the outside their contempt of Australian success stories, hatred of Gina Rinehart (and others who clearly oppose their views) and mission to turn them into the enemy of the state is clear.

It’s almost unimaginable someone could say what he did in public.

Envy and jealousy are bad human emotions.

Mr Howes lives in a bygone era where once upon a time, (well before his time) workers were taken advantage of.

A time he can only imagine.

A time long gone in this country.

To remain relevant, unions use their deep-seated hatred of wealth creators to encourage low income Australians to hate the very people who give them jobs.

And because lower income workers often don’t hate wealth creators, unions bribe them with money to try and get their votes, in a bid to cling to power.

But somehow I think lower income Australians are seeing these dodgy tactics and saying, “We’ll take the money but we’re not going to vote for you anymore.”

Australian workers must understand this:

Unions don’t create jobs.

Never have, never will.

Australian workers have laws to protect their rights.

Give unions the flick and negotiate direct with employers.

You’ll find, as long as you’re focused on adding value and giving more, nine times out of ten you’ll do better. And if not, the current laws will more than protect you.

I won’t tolerate unionism in any of my companies for one second and it’s time workers and employers in this country said, “Enough is enough!”

Unions, if left in control, will destroy the wealth of this nation and when they’re done they’ll still blame the wealth creator.

Their deluded rhetoric is dangerous and needs to be eliminated from our society.

Their abuse of union members and employers has caused enough damage.

Let’s move into the 21st Century.

The industrialisation age is over.

And communistic, dictating, deluded union leaders should be too.

Mr Howes, go and get a real job.

I hear Gina is hiring in the mines.

If you apologise she may just forgive you, and give you a job.

And then you’ll actually be an Australian worker; one of the people your members are meant to represent and not someone who lives off Australian worker’s hard earned union fees.
