You are now entering a world which you have never entered before. You are considering becoming self employed by leveraging the power of the internet. As a result the failure of your enterprise is not down to your boss, or your noisy kids, It is ‘if it’s going to be its down to me’ time.

Sure there are going to be some knocks on the way. Some of these knocks are life changing that is true – but if you have a relentless drive and are driven, then this business can work for you 100% guaranteed. But you have to take responsibility. Put all the excuses in the trash. The economy is in the tank. Your income, if you have one, is getting squeezed left right and centre. You should give any online business a try and dig your well as they say, before you get thirsty.

Some people say to themselves.’ Well he’s just lucky’…’ I don’t have his luck’. Has nobody ever told you that luck happens when opportunity and preparedness meet? In fact I am happy to go one further than that. Along with opportunity and preparation, you need to have action. Be prepared. Take action. Success does not come to the person that takes no action. Money does not come into your account when you take no action. You also need to have the right attitude. Your attitude develops your altitude in life. If your attitude is poor, your climb to the top like a poorly maintained aircraft, will stall.

Your dreams are also the driver of your soul. What do you want in life? For you, your family, your parents, your church, charity etc. You can wait to win the lottery but to be honest you have more chance of getting struck by lightning than winning your multimillion dollar fortune. So how are you going to achieve the desires of your heart? By taking action that’s how. If you don’t take action nothing happens. Your dream just remains a pipe dream.

Ok… what if I fall on my face? My advice to you is don’t. You have attended the university of life haven’t you? You’ve tripped up spectacularly, maybe made a fool of yourself. But you have got back up. If you fall flat on your face you cannot look up. Your face has made an imprint in the dirt. If you fall on your back you can see where to go when you get up. We all trip up from time to time. Get up and plan again. What you are going to do after you have done the mistake, proves you have learnt the lesson… or not.

Finally and this is the big one…don’t talk yourself out of doing an online business. At least give it a try. However even the phrase ‘give it a try’ is half hearted. Expect it to work. Throw your heart and soul into your internet endeavour. Don’t half try it and then say well it didn’t work for me. The most important conversations we have are those that we have with ourselves. There are people with less education and less opportunity than you earning at least six figures a year through online marketing. You could easily be one of them.
