What Are the Immigration Consequences of a Conviction For a Drug Offense?

It is not uncommon for our clients who are not U.S. citizens to ask us if they are subject to deportation if convicted of a drug offense. The client may have a business he or she owns here in the United States and its proceeds are shared with family overseas, so the financial health of many people are at risk.
