1. Know which way you want to make money online.

There are many different ways to make money online. It is in fact more simple than most believe it is. With there being so many ways to make money and so many people telling you join this, or join that lets break down what is really going on here. When you find a link and it says make 500,000 dollars a month doing this…there are only a few different things that you may be doing. You are either marketing someone else\’s product or you are marketing your own product. The other way is freelance where you are selling your services for a profit such as data entry. Figure out which route you want to take and stick with it because there is a learning curve with every path and if you jump from one thing to the next you will be broke and burnt out on having a work from home job in no time.

2. Become a Student of the Art.

Before you can do anything great in life, there is always a learning curve. Einstein had to learn 2+2=4 before he learned E=MC squared. Know that it will take time to learn what you are doing and be patient. Most people quit in the learning process because somebody told them they could get rich in two weeks and they were in it for 1 week 6 days 23 hours and 42 minutes and never made a dime. Learn from people who are better at doing it than you are. Empowernetwork is the tool that I have been using to learn. I bought a lot of get rich crap and quite frankly this has been by far the best investment I\’ve made. There are other options though. Warrior Forum is a great free tool to use for learning. I also found a lot of how to information on Youtube. Do some research on what you want to learn and you could probably find it out there somewhere for free.

3. Become an expert in marketing

This is key. One of the best things you could do for yourself and your business is to learn marketing. Learn to drive traffic to your website. There is a fast way and a slow way to do it. Free marketing takes a little longer. Free marketing tactics such as creating a blog, posting on forums, article writing, or social media (creating a presence online so people are attracted to you) are great ways to generate traffic and not pay a dime for it. Paid marketing such as Facebook PPC, Google PPC, CPM, Solo Ads and etc are investments, but you\’ll see faster results.

4. Have the right mentality.

Sounds ridiculous right. But this is the truth. So many people wash out of this industry because they don\’t have the right mindset. Get rid of that employee mindset and become business minded. Become an entrepreneur. No one person is going to give you the exact answer you need so don\’t expect to be spoon-fed all of the information step by step like a boss or manager would do. This market takes patient a sometimes it takes awhile to see results. Never ever, ever, quit. Working from home is too rewarding for you to quit on yourself.

5. Be consistent

So you go in for your job interview and you get the job. Your scheduled to work five days a week. You show up the on Monday for the first day of on the job training and don\’t come back until the following Tuesday. How long do you think you are going to keep that job? Do you think you\’re going to remember what you\’ve learned on that Wednesday if you haven\’t been to work in over a week? How much could you have learned if you had continued to show up for work everyday as instructed. You are on your way to getting fired! This is an everyday 7 day a week job. 6 days out of the week if your religious. In order to learn and see results faster, you must be consistent everyday.

6. Be a social butterfly.

There are many sites out there where you can build relationships with people. In the offline business world it is important to have the right kinds of relationships. Why would it be any different online? Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and so many more places are great for building relationships. The more you get your name out there, the more people you\’ll have to tell about your business opportunity. This will eventually lead to more traffic to your website along with more friends!

7. Join Empowernetwork

Why? Because it is going to help you. It is very hard especially if you are first starting out to figure out how to go about making money online. How much time do you expect to spend on Google searching for how to make money online? How many garbage e books would you buy before you find one tiny bit of information which was what you were actually looking for. I\’ve been there and done that.
