This is a 3 step sales process that you must use if you are serious about making money online. Maybe you\’re already using it. If so this will just be a refresher for you.

Step 1. Direct Massive Traffic to your website

There are numerous ways to drive traffic to your website. There are free and paid methods for traffic. There\’s so much mystery and hysteria around traffic. It\’s just marketing. Become a skilled marketer by finding a program that will show you how. Click the link in my about me section for more information. Some free methods of driving traffic are blogging, social media marketing (Facebook), forum posting, posting articles, and etc. These methods take daily consistent effort and it may take months before you get a steady flow of leads from it depending on how hard you are working at it. Paid advertising can give you practically instantaneous traffic. Some examples of paid advertising are solo ads where you pay someone to email their list your offer (my personal favorite), PPC campaigns, banner ads, and etc.

Step 2. Capture your traffic to convert them into leads

Send your traffic to a capture page. There are many ways to do it. You may require that someone inputs their information before they have access to the page…or you can have a box where you capture emails on the side of your web page. But if you aren\’t building a list, you are losing massive amounts of money everyday. Some people will offer something free in order to interest people into putting in their emails. This is a good technique. The key is to build enough curiosity around your capture page that people want to input their email.

Step 3. Convert Leads into Sales

When you capture your leads they should be put into a list on your email marketing campaign. If you don\’t have an email marketing company that you are working with…this is a must have. It isn\’t optional. If you are serious you must have it and this is why….most people do not buy something the first time they see it. The average person has to see something 5 to 7 times online before they decide to buy it. If someone is to go to your website and only see your offer once, chances are that your prospect will forget about your offer and move on with his or her life. With email marketing you can send your list of leads information, freebies and promotional offers in order to interest them into buying months after they have visited your website. This is the key to increasing your conversions.

Now that you know all three methods, you can look see which one needs to be tweaked. If you aren\’t getting much traffic, you need to work on your advertising. If you\’re getting traffic, yet no leads, your capture page needs to be tweaked. And you are getting leads but no sales, you need to work on your emails. It\’s like a machine and once you get all three parts to work properly, the machine makes money.
