With many people using technology to learn different tasks, they are also turning to an online golf academy to get their mobile golf instruction. Many players find that the convenience of being able to take their golf lessons anywhere works well with their schedules becoming more and more crowded. This is also true for those that travel for their job as they can now take their instructor with them no matter where they go! As long as they can grab an internet connection they can learn the game whenever they are ready! Here are just a few of the ways that players are improving their game using an online golf academy.

Free Golf Lessons

Many players look to an online golf school as they offer free online golf lessons. Although it is not always true, I am reminded of an adage that my father wore out…You get what you pay for. Make sure that the information is coming from a credible resource. As funny as this sounds, you will want to make sure that the new information or new tip matches with the current philosophy that you have for your golf swing. Mixing philosophies is a recipe for disaster and will only led to more confusion for you. With this being said, there is not one philosophy that is necessarily better than another. Finding the best one for you will depend on your learning style, body build and goals.

Online Golf Clinic

This can come in the form of a golf webinar. It is up to the instructor how this is done, however, many instructors give a short presentation to start the webinar and then open up the chat room to answer questions. Again, it will be up to the instructor, but, some golf webinars are specific to a topic. An example would be if an instructor hosts a putting webinar or a junior golf webinar.

The instructor may do the same thing but break it up into weekly segments that run say four to six weeks. This is much more like a traditional golf clinic and students seem to like that format. Another advantage of the webinars is that if you did not understand a point the instructor was trying to make you can go back and watch them when it is convenient for you to do so.

Private Golf Lessons

Yes some players are even taking private golf lessons via the internet now. This is done several different ways and will depend on the technology that the teacher and student both utilize. It will also depend on how familiar the golf teacher is with the student and their golf swing. Sometimes a simple phone call through Skype allows the two to talk and somewhat show what the player is feeling or what they should be feeling during the golf swing.

Online golf academies are becoming more and more popular because they allow many people to learn the game at their own convenience and give them access to instructors that otherwise they would not have the opportunity to work with simply due to distance.
