My dog and two kittens bring such joy into my life, but they have certainly had their fair share of scrapes and scares. When we first adopted our puppy, he was stung by a yellow jacket right on the throat–on a Sunday, when even the emergency pet hospitals were closed!

That is just one example of a frightening moment we have experienced in the adventure of raising pets. But that is just the nature of the beast, if you’ll pardon the pun.

However, there can be times when it Kamagra Soft is difficult to tell when there is something wrong with your fluffy friend. A cat or dog may be ill for days and its symptoms may go unnoticed, especially if you aren’t even sure what you should be looking for.

The most important thing you can do is always take note of your pet’s behavior. For example, I know that when my dog is not wanting to play fetch or gnaw on his favorite bone, he likes to sleep by the front door or under the dining room table.

But if such heavy sleeping is unlike your little pal–and/or they are Levitra showing other signs of lethargy, you need to be on the alert for other symptoms. After all, they are doing a lot of growing, and that can be exhausting.

Find out if they are eating right. If you cat or dog tends to scarf down their meal the second you set the bowl full of kibble on the floor but they suddenly seem disinterested, it is definitely time to contact your vet.

If your dog or cat is vomiting, don’t be alarmed–at least not right away. This happens frequently when they eat too much too quickly. If they show an interest in eating their vomit, it may seem gross, but it is actually a good sign. If the contents is mostly grass or kibble–or something obviously indigestible–there is probably nothing to worry about.
However, if they are throwing up repeatedly and/or there is a lot of stomach acid and bile in the vomit, you should contact your veterinarian. This is especially true if the vomiting is coupled with diarrhea–your cat or dog could quickly dehydrate, so make sure that you are providing them with plenty of water.

You may even need to force them to drink. It may be beneficial to give them an over-the-counter liquid full of electrolytes that is meant to supplement a child’s nutrition when they have similar symptoms. However, ask your vet or a technician before doing so.

It can be scary when your pet is sick, but when you know what to look for, you will know when to contact the vet.
