After New York Jets coach Rex Ryan recently announced that he expects his team to reach the Super Bowl this year, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross made it clear he has no shortage of confidence in his team either. Ross also recently stated that he expects the Dolphins to be in the Super Bowl next February, placing considerable pressure on his team to succeed. Though the Dolphins certainly seem to be on the upswing, the question remains whether or not they Levitra can reach the lofty expectations set forth by their owner.

For much of the 1990s, the AFC East was the best division in football, which is something it might be again in 2010. The Patriots are still the Patriots – at least as long as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are in New England – and the Jets reached the AFC Championship game a season ago, which makes for an arduous divisional schedule for the Dolphins. Not only did the Jets gain considerable postseason experience last year, they also have a young and improving quarterback in Mark Sanchez to go along with a formidable offensive line. The Jets also boast arguably the best defense in the league, which they made even better by bringing over Antonio Cromartie from the Chargers.

But the Dolphins have plenty of talent as well – enough to make them a team to watch in 2010. Quarterback Chad Henne has impressed scouts and GMs around the league with his strong arm and he seems to have the confidence of Bill Parcells, which is a very good sign. The Dolphins were also very aggressive in the offseason, bringing in Brandon Marshall from the Broncos to give Henne a top-tier receiving threat to throw to. Even if Marshall doesn’t put them over the top, he still will help sell plenty of Miami Dolphins tickets.

Ronnie Kamagra Soft Brown is coming off an injury yet again but Ricky Williams continues to be a very productive back if Brown can’t be. On defense, the Dolphins added key acquisition Karlos Dansby to an already solid defense. After winning seven games last season, the Dolphins do appear to be in a very good position moving forward.

Though the AFC East is very strong this season, the AFC as a whole also seems to be fairly wide open. Aside from the Indianapolis Colts, nobody looks that great. The Cincinnati Bengals won the AFC North last season but don’t appear to be a perennial contender and the Pittsburgh Steelers are also in a very precarious position after years of being one of the strongest teams in the league. The Chargers will also likely be back in the postseason, due mainly to the weak AFC West, but nobody is really afraid of the Bolts when it comes postseason time.

Other teams like the Ravens and Texans are in similar position as the Dolphins, as both are talented teams on the rise who may or may not take the next step forward. Even if the Dolphins are on the outside looking in, the run to the Super Bowl in the AFC may be as capricious as it has been in a number of years.

Quite obviously, though, a lot of Miami’s success depends on the development of quarterback Chad Henne. After not having much talent around him to throw to previously, Marshall could really get Henne on track, which would make the Dolphins very well balanced and difficult to beat. Outside of their two games with Buffalo, the Dolphins will have a tough divisional schedule, though winning the division certainly isn’t outside of the realm of possibility considering the solid additions to both sides of the ball. We’ll have to see whether or not they can live up to their owner’s aspirations, but the pieces are in place for the Dolphins to be a very exciting team in 2010.
