Brad Paisley Tickets – Brad Paisley Closes the 2010 CMA Music Fest
Attendance at the 2010 edition of the Country Music Association’s CMA Music Festival set records, and Brad Paisley was there to close down the event at Nashville’s LP Field in style on Sunday, June 13. Paisley performed nine songs during his 46-minute stint on stage, and while his set list wasn’t expansive, CMT online reports that he made up for it by strapping on five different electric guitars to guide him through the set.
Paisley began with “Mud on the Tires” and continued on to play “American Saturday Night,” “Ticks,” “She’s Everything,” I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song),” “Water,” “Thought I Loved You Then” and “Welcome to the Future” before capping off his set with “Alcohol” (joined onstage by Darius Rucker and Justin Moore).
Chatting with Great American Country backstage Levitra Professional at the concert, Brad Paisley spoke about how the CMA Music Fest’s record-breaking numbers are especially important in light of the fact that the main festival attractions-LP Field and Riverfront Park-were drenched when the Cumberland River flooded the region just weeks ago. “This is more important than ever obviously, being what we’ve just been through as a city. When you drive around and go downtown and see this stadium and the surrounding area, it almost looks like nothin’ ever happened already. That was what I think we wanted to accomplish as a city. So that’s a big deal.”
Along with Paisley, country stars like Kellie Pickler, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride and many more performed at this year’s CMA Music Fest. Aside from the live music, CMA Music Fest is known for connecting country stars with their fans, and has been doing so for the past 39 years. “It’s fan-driven. It’s something that says thank you to all these people that are so loyal and such a different breed of fans from I think maybe any other form of entertainment,” said Paisley to Great American Country. The 40th annual CMA Music Fest has already been scheduled for June 9-12, 2011, and you can bet Paisley will be back again!
Country music fans that weren’t able to be in the country music capital to catch Brad Paisley at CMA Music Fest can still see him this summer on his H2O World Tour. Paisley kicked off his global tour in May and fans can get Brad Paisley tickets online to see him in cities like Austin, Texas; Chicago, Ill.; Moline, Ill.; Cleveland, Ohio; Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; Tampa, Fla.; Foxboro, Mass.; Charlotte, N.C.; Spokane, Wash.; Mountainview, Calif.; San Diego, Calif. and more through September.
Paisley crossed the pond for a pair of dates in London on June 23 and 24 and spoke with the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper about being an Anglophile. “I’m a huge, huge fan of almost everything British,” Paisley gushed before adding that he is seeking Viagra Professional success in the U.K., saying that his Shepherd’s Bush gigs “are just the beginning of trying to break myself there. It’s a difficult process, because there’s certainly not a lot of country music played on the radio, so you’ve got to find some other ways [to get heard]. But, really, I won’t take no for an answer from you guys.” If anyone can do it, it’s Brad Paisley!
