Second hand cars: you either love them or hate them. Me, well I have never owned a brand new one so that should show you where my devotion lies. Yes I love them. That may be however because I have never had a bad experience with them. Why do I prefer second hand cars to brand new ones?

The first reason is that if you choose right they are real value for money. When you purchase a brand new car you have to pay for the additional costs related to on road and dealer delivery. These are both waivered for a second hand car. Quite often you end up overspending on the extras that do not come Cialis standard with the car.

The process of buying a second hand car is more straight forward. The jargon used in brand new car dealing includes terms that one must be familiar with in order to not get caught out. For example advertisements try to entice you by stating prices as drive way but these fail to incorporate the on road and delivery costs mentioned above. kilometers for its age. The one lady owner kept it immaculate and had its log and service book at the ready. I felt comfortable when dealing with both people and was not flustered as I may have been in a car yard situation. Other ways to find these cars include newspapers, as they are being driven around or in magazines and websites devoted to their sale.

Buying second hand enables you to have more freedom with respect to make and models. Some manufacturers release new cars with very different shapes and colours to their older models. Not restricting yourself to buying new means that you can find some great bargains on a tried and well-loved model. These models may have the extras that you wanted but couldn’t afford in newer ones.

Buying a 1974 Ford Escort in the year 1995, for a teenager who just got their license seems logical. Running into walls or backing into garage doors seems less of a worry than if it is just of the lot. Not that I am talking from personal experience of course. Or someone pushing their trolley into you in a car park doesn’t matter if the car already has a few dings and scratches.

Second hand cars just make sense. It should not matter how you got your car if it does the job of getting you from A to B.
