Losing weight can be a difficult process; there’s no doubt about it. Mix it with a diet drink (cola, lemonade or tonic, for example) and you’ll notice you won’t put on as much weight as you did drinking beer or lager.
6. Go for the berries – generally speaking, if a fruit ends in ‘berry’, grows on a bush and you can fit a few in your hand, it’s going to be good for you.
Blueberries, blackberries, strawberries – each and every one is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants, both of which will not only help with weight loss, but will make you feel a lot better.
7. Don’t eat after 10pm – obviously not entirely possible for people who work night shifts, but if you can refrain from eating at least 2 hours before you go to bed, your body will not only digest the food better, but it’s also likely that you’ll do a bit of exercise burning it off – even if it’s doing the dishes or walking up and down the stairs – rather than simply going straight to bed.
