This imbalance could possibly cause you to stop ovulation and impair the ability to carry a child. Being overweight can increase the risk of miscarriage, diabetes, hypertension and a host of other complications.

– Not only can being overweight cause health issues, but it can also make life in general more difficult. This is true especially if you are a Yo-Yo Dieter…the kind of dieter that loses a lot of weight, only to put more than he/she lost, back on. Then the process starts over again continually gaining more and more weight after every weight loss. This continuous up and down weight swing makes it difficult to find clothing to fit unless you buy one of every size. So if your closet looks like a Walmart rack with clothes of every size, then you might fall into this category.

Other obstacles of everyday life for someone overweight include travel, seating at entertainment events, seating at restaurants among other problems. Some airlines are now charging overweight people for two seats. That can get really expensive. Even public modes of transportation such as bus lines are narrowing their seating.
