Daniel Tosh Tickets – Tosh.0 Becomes Hit with Comedy Fans
Few people have the time to scour the internet looking for the funniest videos out there. Sure, many people get an e-mail or two from time to time featuring some hilarious YouTube post, but that is only skimming the surface. Comedian Daniel Tosh has capitalized on the wealth of stupidity the internet offers in his show on Comedy Central, Tosh.0. The hilarity of the videos is enhanced by the commentary by Tosh, and his show has quickly become a favorite of comedy fans worldwide.
In the show, Tosh shows various videos from around the web and adds his biting humor. He has also launched many reoccurring segments to the show, which keep fans tuning in week after week. One such segment is called “Web Redemptions,” where Tosh brings in the subjects of some of the worst (or best, depending on your point of view) viral videos online. He then recreates the scene that got them so many hits (or gives them a way Brand Levitra to make up for it). Interestingly enough, many of the video’s subjects seem to be good sports about appearing on the show. Another segment has Tosh replaying one of the videos and seeing how many funny comments he can make up about the video in 20 seconds. His ability to think on his feet has created comedy gold for Comedy Central.
The proof of Daniel Tosh’s success on the show came from the results of the viewership from his June 23rd show. According to Nielsen, the show had 2.4 million viewers, which was a high for the series. His series even drew attention from The Frisky, which put out an article titled “Why you should watch Tosh.0.” The review compared the show to a modern day America’s Funniest Home Videos. Anyone who has seen both shows would likely agree that Tosh’s show is much edgier than the Bob Saget-hosted show from the 1990s.
Daniel Tosh has carved a television niche for himself on Tosh.0, but his first love is standup comedy. He returns to that love with his upcoming tour “Tosh Tour Twenty Ten: A Comedy Central Live Event.” The tour kicks off on Sept. 25 in Tucson, Ariz. The tour goes on to hit 60 more dates throughout the fall, making stops in cities like Dallas, Albuquerque, St. Louis, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Indianapolis, Chicago, Seattle and many more. Fans can find Daniel Tosh tickets online. The press release on the tour also revealed that Tosh is set to release a new one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central, which will premier in October.
Tosh was born in Germany but grew up in Florida. He had a knack for comedy from a young age, but didn’t pursue comedy full time until after high school. He started gaining a following in the stand-up scene in the 1990s, and started earning spots on television by the early 2000s. He had his first Comedy Central Presents special in 2002, follows by appearances on late night shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live. He launched Tosh.0 in 2009.
