Legends in Concert is a popular superstar tribute display which features a cast of talented tribute artists who look, sing and have the moves of music greats such as Elvis, Madonna, Buddy Holly, the Blues Brothers, Ray Charles, Dolly Parton, Bing Crosby and many others. There is also a live back up band, back up singers and dancers, special effects and an intimate theater atmosphere that combine to make this a popular choice for families of all kinds.
There is also an annual Christmas show performed during November and December. It is located in Surfside Beach, an area that families frequent on vacation; it is just six miles south of the center of Myrtle Beach for a convenient venue.
A great option if you enjoy dinner and entertainment is Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, a popular arena dinner show which has great action packed fun for all ages with beautiful horses and talented riders, stampeding buffalos, singing, dancing, comedy and a four course delicious meal. A Carriage Room opening act precedes the main show.
During the Christmas season, the show features holiday music, elves, angels, Santa and a live Nativity scene complete with camels. This is a great show that is family friendly and deliciously filling.
The House of Blues is another option that combines blues, jazz, gospel, reggae, hip hop and rock. It attracts many of the world’s top performers for concerts.
It comes complete with a southern inspired menu including dishes like Tennessee Baby Back Ribs, Voodoo Shrimp and Jambalaya, cornbread and much more. You can stop by for Sunday Gospel Brunch, Teen Dance Night, Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and Comedy Zone for an evening of fun options.
There is also a schedule of regular performances that are top notch. The House of Blues can be found at Barefoot Landing, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in North Myrtle Beach.
Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is the last display listed. This is your chance to witness the knights, pageantry, jousting, magnificent Andalusian stallions, colorful costumes, an original music score and more.
