There are two, three and four day hikes available to Mount Rinjani.
A typical 4 day trek is as follows:
Day 1 Starts with an early pick up at your hotel at Senggigi followed by a 2 hour drive to Senaru village where the trek starts. This is a long day with some steep climbs up to about 2500 meters.You prescription cialis online will reach the Senaru crater rim late in the day where you camp for the night. Day 2 Senaru crater to Segara Anak lake. This is a shorter day but starts off with a steep descent down to the lake. It takes about 3 hours but once at the lake the rest of the day is spent swimming, exploring caves and hot springs.
Day 3 Segara Anak lake to Sembalun crater rim. Another 3 hour day to the Sembalun crater rim.
Day 4 Sebalun crater rim to mount Rinjani summit, Sembalun village and then back to Senggigi.
This is a big day as you start at about 3am with a 3 hour hike up to Mount Rinjani summit to watch the sun rise. Then back down the same route to the campsite for breakfast. Next is a long walk to Sembalun Lawang where there is transport back to Senggigi.
Parts of the hike can be steep and slippery and you will need to be wary of snakes and stinging insects but when it comes to amazing scenery, wildlife and local tradition, Mount Rinjani will certainly satisfy every hikers expectations.
