Featuring local thespians, the play called the innocents, opened its curtains to the public. There has been a lot of mystical speculations regarding the portrait which hangs at this show’s set.

An unknown person is said to take ownership of this portrait for years and years. She was said to be traveling when this suddenly caught her attention, and she bought it with unknown reasons.

The clerk was still taking the portrait from the window while she pondered how exactly she can afford to shoulder that expensive portrait.

This very beautiful picture when scrutinized by someone familiar with the Borzoi will easily wonder why the Borzoi in the picture was painted with an almost straight on pose and he will also get to wonder why it is only the dog’s head and shoulders shown there. And the shoulders and chest seem to be a bit out of proportion.

Even as the woman’s eyes were extremely familiar with such a breed and knew exactly how it must look like, she still got it despite thinking that she should not.

That night, her husband arrived and found the picture hung against their wall but then instead of blowing up since his wife overspent for that painting instead of buying the needs of their children first, she was surprised that he felt exactly what she gad felt too when she first saw it.

There has been quite so many photographers, both experts and newbies taking photos of this painting but there was never an instance that two similar shots of it came out.

It was simply bizarre how at some times, a spectral face would appear on the right portion of it, then there would be occasions when the dog in the picture would appear flat while three dimensional in some, but in almost all of the instances mo matter if the portrait would appear to be in color or black and white, strange lights would surface and linger.

Once when the owners of the portrait were discussing the possibility that an entity had come with the picture and the husband said, I think that it’s a lot of imagination and some kind of light reflections and I don’t think there is really anything strange about the portrait.

Just then a large ceramic plate, which was hanging on the wall, fell with a crash to the floor, without breaking.

The owners of the portrait were approached by the producer director who heard about the painting and explained to them that his play was a story of the supernatural so they gladly agreed when he asked them if he could loan it for the set of his production, The Innocents.

Openly, they discussed with the producer that the portrait might have something mystical about it, specifically something that entered their home the day they bought it and they believe that letting him use this for his show can shed some light to their queries.

They can only keep their fingers crossed that this true.
