Many of my clients who want to start working for themselves and decide to invest their time in an “MLM startup” ask me if there are many MLM scams around. This is what I tell them…

I always tell them there are several important questions to keep in mind before you even think about MLM startups and which product you would like to sell.

My first question is always this one: are you ready to be a leader? You don’t have to be one now or think that you are one now, but do you see yourself being an expert. Do you see yourself helping others who are thinking about an MLM startup to change their lives?

Because the time of selling your product MLM wise, the “old” MLM way is over! I train people to become a leader, to become the expert and to be the person that others want to follow.

So the question are there many MLM scams, which company should I pick, am I going to loose money etc. Are all very good questions. Good questions for followers.

In case you are wondering, I am not in a Network Marketing Company but I am making money offering my service as Attraction Marketing Coach and providing them with our MLMDownlineDomination system called MLMLeadSystemPro.

I did do a lot of research in MLM worldwide so when you would like to ask me questions in finding the best company for you I might be able to help or forward your question to my network.

Back to MLM Scams now. The most important questions I always ask when I review a company are these:

– Is there a real product being sold?

– Is the company only making money by selling air?

– How is the website and backoffice you will get?

– Who is your upline? Can your upline get you to the top and get you to make money very quickly? I do not mean that your upline will pull you up or will give you anything for free but can your upline show you a system that you can copy and start to make money within your first 90 days?

– How long have they been in business?

– What was their turnover?

– Are they hiding their numbers?

– How large is their market and how many other MLM companies are currently in the same market?

Some questions you do NOT want to ask are these:

– How much money does my upline make or how much do I make?

This is irrelevant, you will only make as much as YOU will work on it and has nothing to do with your (direct) upline. When using the right system it really doesn’t matter what your upline is doing!

Will I loose money? Yes you will definitely loose money, but only when you QUIT! No matter what product MLM offers you, when you quit you loose! Research has shown that when people stay in a company for longer than 5 years they will get to the top. I would like to add, that they WORK during those 5 years. For some products you don’t really have to work to sell but that’s a different story.

– Is this company a scam? This question is of course a good question, but when you answered all the questions above with a positive answer then you should just shut up and accept that you’re afraid of losing some money or making mistakes. When all the questions above are positive it’s all about how hard you are willing to work for it.

– Do I have to sell door to door? This is a great question but don’t ask it, just use the internet and one of the great Marketing Systems there are to sell your products. Leads and sales on autopilot is not a strange thing these days! We can teach you how.
