Industrial Cleaning Benefits From Cost Efficient, Productivity Boosting Cleaners
Several industrial units now appreciate the need of investment in ultrasonic cleaners. Depending on use, industrial ultrasonic cleaners come in varying sizes. A tabletop version with a single stainless tank is used where several small parts need to be cleaned. Larger stainless steel industrial tubs are those that are mounted on the floor. The size of the tub is customizable to your needs. These are used for cleaning parts of varying sizes and materials like plating and steel-based items.
Industrial ultrasonic units are also available in multi-tank versions, where you have one tub for detergent soaking, the other for spraying, and one for cleaning parts. Working together, they ensure efficient, thorough, and quick cleaning. Many of these units are automated for ease of use. Industrial ultrasonic units can also be chosen in automated versions, where the entire process is standardized and can be set in motion with the flick of a button.
Setting up of tabletop units is not all that difficult and will not require a call to the experts. For larger units however you may need physical or mechanical help to move the big parts around for placement. In most cases of industrial units, the transducers are attached to the bottom of the stainless tub itself. However, the generator in these units is kept apart. This is to prevent the heat that is generated in it from interfering with the cleaning process. The heat is a result of the immense power that it produces for the cleaning process.
Now in terms of a general set up, you will first need to find an appropriate place to keep the cleaning tank. This means that you keep it close to a place that has access to water, sufficient draining facilities as well as plug points for electricity supply. Make sure that the surface you place the tank on is flat and can bear the weight of the unit when it is filled with water or the cleaning solution.
The generator needs to have plenty ventilation and therefore a free-flowing air supply is required. Make sure the air intake and the exhausts are kept open. The tank will have provision for a coaxial cable that connects it to the generator. Ultrasonic cleaners need to be filled to the right level before they are switched on. If not, the transducers that are a part of the unit can get damaged. In some cases the plug for the transducers are separate, you will have to make provisions for that as well.
An ultrasonic cleaner needs to be placed such that it is nowhere near moisture. They most definitely should not be placed in cabinets. Steam from the unit should not reach the generator as this can affect its functioning. Place your generator where there is sufficient free flow of air. Also, make sure that the ultrasonic unit is plugged into well-grounded electrical points.
Some things you have to keep in mind are that the cleaning solution needs to be changed beyond a certain point. Keep an eye on the solution to make sure that it is clean enough to be used each time. Setting up an industrial ultrasonic cleaner is a simple enough task if you follow instructions. Doing it the right way will ensure that you get the best in terms of performance.
