Long Live the Sweet Shop!

We all have fond childhood memories of going down to the sweet shop after school buy bags of our favourites like flying saucers, sherbet lemons, dip dabs, fruit salads, cola bottles and dolly mixtures. Shelves stacked with jars of sugary treats were too much for the kids to resist but these shops seem to be a thing of the past these days. Because of this you may find it difficult to track down your favourite childhood sweets but don’t worry – they haven’t disappeared!

Thanks to the internet it is now easier than ever to find these sweets and the choice you have is more than those old sweet shops could ever stack on their shelves. It is thanks to the internet boom that there are several websites from where you will be able to buy a huge range of jelly sweets, American candy bars, chocolates, bubblegum and even some of the retro sweets from yesteryear that you had long since forgotten.
