From 1977 till 2009, Robin Williams has starred in a whopping total of seventy one movies and has two more to be added to the list – one for the year of 2010 and the other for 2011. Since 1977 through 2009, Robin Williams has also acted in a lot of television series. Mork and Mindy released in the year of 1979 ran for a total of three years, in which Williams played the role of Mork. He first appeared in that role as a guest star on the series Happy Days. The letters and phone calls from impressed fans exceeded those typically received for a performance by a tremendous amount so a series around the Mork character was quickly developed.

In the year of 2009, Williams was diagnosed with a heart problem, for which he was hospitalized and underwent surgery. Even after this particular set back, Robin Williams is back on his feet once again and is ready to move on to new movies on his list. Sometime during 2010, we can look forward to his movies Wedding Banned and during 2011, the second part of Happy Feet will be released using 3D technology.

Over time, you can actually see a difference in the roles that Robin Williams has played in each of his movies. The genre of Robin Williams Movies ranges from comedy, drama, thriller, Sci-Fi, and even to cartoon voiceovers. His works are truly the works of a genius who has the sky as his limit. After the release of the two pending movies, we can only hope to see Robin William continue to entertain his fans in his unique way and we certainly hope that he wins a lot more laurels for his outstanding performances and for his achievements in Hollywood. Apart from being an actor Williams is also an active donor for various charitable institutions and is well known amongst the elite circle of Hollywood. His works surely are the works of an artistic craftsman.
