Writers do have the freedom to choose how to write effectively. It has been an option whether you write in the first, second and third person.

In order to determine whether a certain piece is written in a second person, the writer often uses the term “you” or “your” in his content which always refers directly to his readers.

If you use more than one in a single sentence, for instance, there’s a good chance you can alter it to use less. Same when you use second person pronouns in consecutive sentences.
