You can often find companies that will pay you a flat monthly fee for a small space of advertisement on your blog. This is a good way to make a little money because it is guaranteed, unlike affiliate marketing. The most difficult aspect of this monetizing method is finding companies that will pay you a flat fee.

Article Marketing
One of the most effective ways to drive more traffic to your site (to make money through your site) is by article marketing. Article marketing is when SEO-filled content is created and submitted to article directories. These articles have links embedded in them that point to your site. You can also put a blurb about your site in the author’s resource box at the bottom of the article. The creation and submission of quality articles will significantly increase the traffic directed towards your site.
