Waste management and recycling have never been more important than it is today, with even computers threatening to poison the environment. With the chemicals that are used in them they are considered to be “hazardous household waste”. Cardboard Recycling – One of the uses of a vertical baler is to compress cardboard into tight bales and then bind them with straps that allow for easy removal and storage until they are processed in a recycling facility.

Along with cardboard recycling there is a great need by the corporate world of being required to properly destroy data. These machines must be able to sufficiently grind, chew or shred a range of materials from paper to date disks. All of which require special equipment and additional means of disposal once it is hauled away.

There are many types of compaction equipment and your choice will depend on your usage needs. There are indoor and outdoor units that cover a wide variety of waste management. A word of caution, however, be sure to open all containers and remove any lids before putting them into a trash compactor.
