Losing Body Fat Without Dieting – 7 Winning Strategies

Millions of Americans are in a ongoing battle with a enemy called ” Fat”. The Health-Diet-Exercise-Supplement-Fitness Business, is a billion dollar industry. With so much information on reducing body fat available to us, it is hard to determine what is fact or fiction. So, what do you do?

For some, it is easier to just give up. Well, there are no quick solutions. Everyone is different, and there are no “one size fits all” diets. You can start with some easy, simple painless steps that do not require dieting.

According to our Nations Surgeon General Dr. Benjamin, two-thirds of adults are overweight or obese. The Health and Fitness industry makes billions of dollars every year selling and promoting programs, diets, cures, supplements and equipment. You may have bought some of these products, we all have. After many years in the industry, I have found that to lose body fat and inches, you really do not need a new program or a new piece of fitness equipment. Here are my recommendations. All you have to do is keep it simple. Here are my 7 tips for losing body fat without dieting.

#1. Drink plenty of water. Drinking water is first on my list, because it is top priority.

Our bodies are 80% water. We need water to help perform every major body function. Start drinking water immediately upon rising. Drink at least 8 glasses a day.

#2. Eat breakfast. I am always surprised when people confess they do not eat breakfast.

Studies point to the fact that as many as 75-80% of over-weight people skip breakfast. This is an big mistake when trying to lose fat. Eating breakfast starts your metabolism and cleansing of the body.

#3. Eat a apple a day.

Apples are great anytime of the day. They are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They boost your immune system, fight tooth decay, and help detoxify.

#4. Walk one hour a day. I made this item #4, but it is really #1. This scares a lot of people.

Most people in the United States, do not walk anywhere. I’ve seen people wait 15 minutes for a parking spot to avoid walking 20 additional feet. I’ve witnessed people who are clearly able bodied, park in a handi-cap space. Our bodies are built for walking. If you do not incorporate walking in your daily routine, you are missing an opportunity to burn and eliminate a great amount of body fat. A sustained medium pace 1 hour walk will transform your body. If you can not walk for 60 minutes, start with 15-20 minutes each day. Then increase your time by 10 minutes each week. After one month, you will be walking for 60 minutes easily. If you have not been doing any walking or any other type of exercise, remember to check with your Doctor before starting any new physical activities.

#5. Drink Apple Cider Vinegar. Take 1-2 teaspoons before every meal.

Apple cider vinegar has been known to have different healing properties. It seems to be a appetite suppressant, assist to boost metabolic rate, and give you a sense of well being. I use it in my food and salads.

#6. Try to eliminate stress. Chronic Stress is a silent killer.

Stress can trigger higher and prolonged levels of cortisol to enter your bloodstream. This could lead to high blood pressure and an increase in abdominal fat. So, “do not sweat the small stuff”.

#7. Get 8 hours of sleep every night. If possible, retire at 10:00pm and rise at 6:00am.

This allows your body to stay in rhythm with the earths natural cycles.

By following these suggestions, you should see a noticeable difference in your body. Remember, it is only a start. You can build on these basics, and begin to realize a healthier lifestyle.
