Five Ways to Make X Factor More Interesting
Nowadays it seems we all love reality TV, especially when it comes to the kind of hilarious public behaviour exhibited on programmes like the X Factor. We don’t know whether it’s because you watch it for the talent or Simon’s lush looks: but either way, it has one of the highest viewing rates ever! So we get it, everyone loves it.
But for those of you that don’t, here are our suggestions for the best ways to make the X Factor (and other similar programmes) more entertaining. And for those of you who can’t get enough of X Factor already, why not try these too? You never know, it may make it even more fun-filled!
The Ultimate Drinking Game:
Get your mates round, line up the drinks, and take a swig at moments like these (just drink responsibly!):
– When anyone in the audience is wearing a tacky support t-shirt
– As soon as Dermot claims it is ‘the toughest week yet’
– At the saying of ‘sack the mentor’ or ‘that song was just too big for you’
– When Cheryl references to a contestant being ‘cute’ or ‘sweet’
– When contestants rattle on about their journey or difficult times in their life
– At the points where Simon references Louis’ sexuality
– If Cheryl (or Danni) breaks into tears at any point in the game
– Whenever Louis mentions that he ‘brought the world Westlife’
– Or of course when all the judges start laughing and one comments on how an act was some form of karaoke
We are sure this seems appealing to a lot of you right now, so why not give it a go next Saturday? It’s so much fun. However don’t go blaming anyone but yourself if you have a banging head come Sunday morning!
Simon Says:
We all know that Simon is famous for his opinions, don’t we? So why not make a useful game out of these sayings hey? So how about this: make a list by yourself of the phrases you predict he will say over the course of the night and then remember to record how many times he has said them. Then, whoever predicted the phrases best shall win a prize! You could even create a game of Simon Says Bingo!
Sing Along Song:
What about a bit of Karaoke? How about when every awful contestant sings, you pause the TV after and try to beat that performance. All take it in turns over the course of the show and whoever was the funniest can win a prize… or a drink!
Funny Themes:
So the X Factor, when getting into the live shows, have themed nights don’t they? As good as they may be singing wise (of those that can sing) it can be a bit repetitive and dull. What about some funny themes then: underwater- where they can dress up as sharks and jelly fish and swim in a big tank of real creatures, or how about ice skating- I bet none of them could keep on their feet! We can dream, hey…
Competition Time:
Of course the competition should be between the contestants, but the real competition seems to be between Cheryl and the guest judges this year! So how about you all predict how envious Cheryl will get in the show to come and how much she’ll try to stand out just so she’s noticed. It could be funny you know!
So here we go, the top five ways to make the x factor more interesting! Whether you love the programme already or not just give them a try. Trust me, you’ll have a whale of a time…
