During winter, it might be a little more frequent to see everyone gather at the house. The snow outside may be calling for fun, and there are a lot of things that you can do with snow, or without snow. Here are some things that you can enjoy in the family during winter.

1. It is a classic and building a snowman will always be fun as it is something you will do with family and friends. A carrot for his nose and a silly hat will make for laughter and wonderful photos afterwards. You can play around with different accessories and take some really great family pictures with the snowman.

2. Shoveling snow will make for a fun activity while helping out do a chore at the same time. To make it more fun, you can have a race or use the snow to build a snow fort.

3. Build a snow igloo in the backyard and have hours of fun.

4. Gather pinecones outside and make wonderful winter decorations and art and crafts.

5. Take photos of the landscape within your area and capture nature’s beauty.

7. Go sledding down a hill. Skiing and snow boarding are some other fun options.

8. Roast marshmallows and chestnuts over the fireplace. You can also make s’mores from the roasted marshmallows.

10. Visit your neighbors and bring hot cocoa with you as you share warm stories.

11. Get a wagon and pull it around town with someone or your pet dog in it.
