What Makes a Strong Relationship?

Why do there are broken hearts and unmended relationships? At the start when you begin to call each other as boyfriends and girlfriends, all things seem to be all right. You get happy each day but later you end up crying. And, though you know the fact that everyone gets hurt, it doesn’t makes sense. You’re hurt and that is all you know and is thinking about.

Everything happens either by chance or consequence. If it’s by chance, then there’s nothing you can do about it except to accept, rise, and move on. But some failures and heartaches are the consequences of our mistakes. In this case, there may be something you can do to bound things up. The only important thing is that the ones responsible are the same that will strive to put back the broken pieces together.

A good relationship doesn’t mean you never have to experience a quarrel or days of playing deafs and mutes. Nor does it mean you never have to cry and hurt other’s feelings. Sometimes, a hard fight that seems so hard to get out of may even lead to a stronger relationship. And, cries too will help people pause for a while and take time to understand what’s going on.

Circumstances always come. People around are there that may help or distract you. Some instances will push you together while some will pull you apart. No one can do away with circumstances. The important element that makes a strong relationship is how the ones involved react to it. Okay, it isn’t bad to be angry. Sometimes, it requires you to shout just to let all the hard feelings out. In some times, though, you may never have to say anything at all. All these things are the first reactions that we show. But in few hours or days, make a decision or a reconciliation. Make sure both of you agree to it.

Making decisions is hard. It may help you to consider first the effect of the decision rather than consider the problem and effect a decision right away.

Understanding is always the best thing that fixes every impairments. How can you understand if you don’t listen? So, take time to listen to reasons though you never want to. Talk it over then give space for chances. If you think it’s worth trying for, then go for it without hesitation.

Reflecting over of how you had been helps greatly. Admitting mistakes shows humility. Some of your actions may have lead to great things. Pride will never work things out. It only ruins what is there to build up. Accept other’s sorry and say a sorry too if you have to. All problems are just stepping stones to attaining a strong relationship.

Whether it’s a mother to daughter relationship, a friendship, or any relationship, the principle of understanding and listening will still do best. We need not lose one more important person just because of a quarrel. Make ways to amend the relationship and start all over again with new lessons learned this time.
