When I first looked at multi-level or network marketing, I was extremely intrigued. Looking at the structure just amazed me. Here was an industry where you could leverage your time and create UNLIMITED income. This is a relatively simple business but you are not going to build a successful business just by joining. The first thing I would look at when investigating a MLM home based business would be to see if the system is duplicatable. Meaning when you start your business can build your business the same way your sponsor did and most important, when you show your business to someone, will they think they can do the same thing you have done.

The next thing I would look at is to see if you are going to get any training. Hopefully you understand there is some work involved. So it makes sense if you are going to put in the time and effort to build your business, you would want to build it the right way. Training is extremely important when starting a new business.

Network marketing and the MLM industry have been around a long time and many people have made a ton of money. In fact this industry has produced more 7 figure money earners than any other industry.

There are more than a couple ways to build your MLM Home Based Business. However doesn’t it make sense, if you want to build a huge business then you should be modeling someone who has built a huge business. Chances are when you start you business; the person who invited does not have a huge business. I am not saying not to listen to them because they might possibly be the next huge person in your business. As I mentioned earlier most MLM businesses are pretty simple. But you still need to learn some things as this industry is a little different than most industries. Even if you are an experienced sales person, this industry is different so you have to be willing to be trained.

Most of the network marketing businesses will tell you to start with your warm market and there is nothing wrong with that. However, even if you are introducing your business to your warm market there is a right way to introduce your business to people. First impressions are extremely important so you have to be on your game when you start introducing your business.

There are normally two things you must be able share with people. The first is your product and service. The second is explaining the business itself. Every MLM home based business is different and some businesses will want you to share the product and service first and some will want you to share the opportunity first. This is where you need to get training from someone who is successful in this business.

To be honest with you I struggled when I started out in this industry. I thought I was working hard and I thought I was working it the right way. However, I was going nowhere. The trouble was we were not being trained the right way to fully understand how to sponsor new distributors and build new teams in our business.

I soon realized that I needed to find successful people in the MLM industry to follow. I was very fortunate to find a couple of people who were willing to mentor me. By putting my ego aside and working hard I have learned how to build systems. NOW I sponsor new distributors and build teams very easily.

Many people who get started in their own MLM home based business struggle because they do not treat it as a business. They say they do but most people start their business thinking it will be easy to build. With those thoughts most people treat their business as a hobby. When they encounter the first difficult period they usually quit. If you want to be successful, you need to treat this as a business and go get the right training from the right people.
