Panic Cure For Patients in Need

Panic is caused by hidden and unknown health problems. Different panic cure can be given depending on the underlying cause of the disorder. Panic can be seen in patients with high blood pressure and pulse rate. This is because the brain releases hormones in response to stressful situations. The hormones directly increase heart activity which explains the enhanced blood pressure. Patients suffering panic attacks can be cured using the right medications. Physicians know that panic is caused by excessive fear and anxiety. The trigger which could cause panic includes phobias and stressful situations. Once the patient feels the changes in the body including sweating and palpitations, the panic would only worsen. This is a viscous cycle involving the mind and body of the patient. In order to prevent the panic attacks, doctors should block the trigger and symptoms of the disorder.

A combination of drugs can be used to treat panic attacks. Since the brain directly triggers the panic attack, the main treatments seek to lessen the activity of the parts of the brain involved. Hypothalamus is the part of the brain that is activated during stressful situations. Hypothalamus secretes epinephrine and norepinephrine that increase the activity of the body. The hormones enhance the heart, lung and muscle activities. That is why people tend to breathe faster and move deliriously during panic attacks. By blocking the hypothalamus, occurrence of panic would be lessened. But other source of epinephrine could be activated including neurons. This could still produce the symptoms associated with panic and anxiety. The use of specialized medications blocks the effects of epinephrine.

The use of heart medications such as beta and calcium channel blockers are also considered panic cure. This is because some people experience panic when the cardiovascular activity of their body increases. Beta and calcium channel blockers decrease heart activity preventing the symptoms of panic from occurring. Beta blockers work by blocking the receptors of epinephrine. Even though there is an increased hormonal secretion from the hypothalamus, the heart would not respond since it has been rendered unresponsive and stable. The beta blockers would also slow down lung and muscle activity allowing the patients to relax. This is very effective for patients who have been experiencing panic attacks for a long time. They could develop heart problems if not treated properly.

Panic can also be controlled and prevented using anti depressant agents. Doctors have cleared the use tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines to prevent panic from occurring. The medication lowers neural and muscle activity by increasing the threshold needed for activation. When the drugs are taken properly, no amount of hormones and chemical substances released by the brain would induce excessive heart and lung activity. This is very effective for long term panic disorders since the drugs are potent.

Panic cure is necessary since the symptoms produced by the condition could cause a lot of health problems. In order to deal with panic, the right set of drugs and medications should be taken. This would help prevent and stop the panic attacks from happening. A lot of people have been treated using the set of drugs in the market.
