Business Credit Card – Why Get One?
I’m sure if you’re over the age of 18 years you have some type of credit card. Whether you have one for gas, one that gives you cash back, or one for traveling, they all have their own benefits, and rewards for having it.
There are a lot of people out there that are against using credit cards. They were taught that they will only help you bring on debt, and aren’t good for anything, although I must disagree completely. In my opinion, I believe they are great for building your credit score, and for giving you rewards and convenience. If you use a credit card wisely, and pay off your balances in full each month how can they hurt you? They can’t. Only poor behavior makes having a card difficult.
There is one type of card that I’d like to talk about, and that’s a business card. This is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons. If you’re thinking about getting one for your small or large business, here are a few reasons why to consider it.
Limit: First of all, if you’re starting your own business you probably need some type of loan or start up money. This card is great because out of all the credit cards on the market, this has the highest credit limit. Just keep in mind that it could be dangerous if you don’t plan on paying it off right away.
The benefit to this is that you can buy expensive things all at once and get rewarded for it. For example, you can buy computers, printers and other business supplies with your card, pay it off and then get a point for each dollar you spend.
Expenses: This is also a great way to keep track of all your business expenses. This card should only be used for business so that way you can stay organized and know how much you’re spending each month.
Write off: When it comes to the end of the year, you should keep track of all your business expenses, and also keep the receipts because you can write these off on your taxes. This can save you a lot of money, keep you organized, and make it much easier when taxes need to be filed.
Fees: Business cards are also great because they usually have little to no fees. There are a lot of cards out there that have a start up fee, annual fee and other hidden fees, although, with a business credit card there usually aren’t any.
As you can see, there are a few different, great reasons why you should consider getting a business card for your business. Almost every business owner has one for these reasons, and mainly because of its convenience, and the help of staying organized with their business expenses. There are several great ones to choose from so find the one with the best interest rate, the best rewards, and one that doesn’t have any fees for the whole year!
