Professional Inflatable Rental Balloons Vs. Small Inflated Yard Decorations

With the holiday seasons here, many people enjoy decorating their yards and business with seasonal inflatables. Families decorate their yards for fun, and business decorate to attract customers. But some businesses question why they should spend the extra time and money on a professional balloon rental when they can pick up a cheaper, though usually also smaller, version at a local store. Businesses contemplate whether the trade off for a smaller balloon they will own at less money, instead of company balloons that will be rented even if they will be a giant inflatable. Frankly, a business should have a business-sized giant inflatable balloon. Yard ornaments should be just that, front yard ornaments to be enjoyed by subdivisions. Giant inflatable advertisements attract customers. Here is a comparison of the two types of inflatables.

Some people see the word “inflatable” in both “giant inflatables” and “yard inflatables” and come to the incorrect conclusion that the front yard version is simply a smaller, somewhat lower quality version of a professional inflatable ad. But the differences between the two could better be described as the difference between a child’s pedal bike with training wheels and a gas-filled motorcycle. Or the difference between a toddler’s plastic training potty and the ceramic one in your master bathroom. You get the idea. Things may be called by the same name or have a similar look, but they can be polar opposites as well. But back to inflatable rental balloons. The differences here include material, form, function, cost, etc. Its more than one product simply being of higher quality.

So here’s a quick comparison between the two types of inflatables.

– Message Communicated
Professional inflatable balloon rentals were calculated to attractively market your business and services to potential customers. Because of that their shapes and designs were created in such a way as to cleanly and clearly advertise your business, specifically. Yard inflatables were not made to communicate any message to potential consumers beyond just looking nice.

– Size Possibilities
Giant inflatable balloons are made by hand and each one is unique. Therefore, depending on how large of an area your business has to work with, the inflatable ad can be as large as you want. If you go the store-bought, yard decoration option, the inflatable is relatively small with no way of adjusting or customizing it.

– Blower Strength
The strength and durability of the blower attached to the inflatable is very important. An industrial-sized, professional balloon obviously needs a heavy-duty cold air blower. This is important, because unlike its smaller cousin which comes on a yard decoration, these blowers were meant to be used for long periods of time for many years to come. Yard inflatables are only meant to run for a few hours for a couple of weeks at best.

– Composition Materials
In the same way that giant inflatable rental balloons’ blowers are made for the long-term, so is its material. The balloon itself is made of a heavy-weight vinyl-coated nylon that is much more durable against sun and other weather elements. Smaller, non-professional inflatables are made of a much thinner, less durable material that is only meant to last for a couple of weeks.

Bottom line is, your business will get what it pays for. If it spends the money on a small, cheap, yard inflatable, that’s fine. But those weren’t designed to market and draw in potential customers, they are set up to just sit there and look nice. Much better to invest in a professional (which is what your business is) company balloon.
