The Absolute Best Way to Make Money Online
One of the biggest questions asked on Google.com is “How can I make money online?”. Well, it’s not an easy question to answer, but I’m going to do my best to answer it anyways.
A lot of folks will tell you that Blogging is the best way to make a living on the internet, and I really can’t disagree with this opinion, for the most part. Blogging has created thousands (probably a lot more than that) of new “jobs” for people all over the world. But I think that the problem with this opinion is “why” and “how” Blogging can create income for these people. Let’s take a look at a few facts.
– Blogging can help you make a living online by writing something you’re passionate about and using Affiliate Products and offers from companies that pay you when someone clicks on your affiliate links and end up purchasing that (or any other) product on the Merchant’s (the company) website.
– Some Bloggers simply use Contextual Advertising such as Google AdSense. With this type of advertising you can get paid for each click on the ads placed on your website. Just be careful, make sure you don’t start clicking on your own ads or you will be banned from AdSense!
– Advertising spots on your website can create another source of revenue by allowing you to let advertisers upload their banners into certain spots on your site and having them pay Monthly.
There’s also the question of whether you should use Free Blogging Sites like Blogger.com or purchase your own Domain (.com,.net, etc.). I have an opinion on this that I think everyone should definitely consider.
1. When you use a free service such as Blogger, you’re losing control over your “virtual real estate.” As a beginner you may not understand this, but think about every website you have as real estate. It’s either your property or a lease/rental. When you use someone else’s site it becomes a lease/rental. If they shut down or decide to delete sites, guess what? That’s right, you have no choice. When you own your own property – YOU are in control. Always own your own property!
2. A lot of people look at Blogger, etc. as “unprofessional,” regardless of how professional the site ever will be. A good rule of thumb is to always try to purchase your own.com(1),.net(2),.org(3) or anything below that and use WordPress or another product to Blog on your own Domain. It makes you look more credible and respectable.
But let’s get something straight… Blogging is NOT the only way to make money, nor is it always the easiest way to get started. You can actually build Review sites on products you like/dislike or use. By doing this you can promote specific products or lists of products that will pay you a commission every time someone goes to your site, clicks a link and then purchases that product.
You can also choose to NOT own a website and simple use Paid Traffic to make money. The problem with paid traffic is…well, it’s paid. You have to pay for it. Every click that happens, every view, etc. – you will have to pay for this traffic and not everybody has a budget when starting off. Don’t let the word “paid” scare you, you can definitely start out with a few hundred dollars and give it a shot. You won’t always strike gold, and you might even lose it all, but you will learn a lot.
