When it is time to replace the drain you will start seeing water under the sink. Before replacing it, make sure there is not problem with your sink, that could the cause of it leaking. If there is any water around the sink trap wipe it off to see if it will fix that problem.

It is important that you have a garbage disposal. This is so you will not have to worry about you sink getting stopped up. It will brake down food particles that are left if your sink.

If you do not know what you are doing do not try doing it yourself, call your local plumber. They will come out and charge you a fee before they repair it. It is worth it because you do not have to worry about it getting backed up again. If you do not know what to do in that situation you could cause serious problems.
