It does not matter whether you like working with people who are younger, older, or have disabilities of some sort, you can find work within the field that will work with any age group that you are interested in. There are people of all ages that need to be looked after depending on the situation and there are many positions available in this area.

There are many families who need nannies because both of them work full-time or they are extremely busy. Life these days is busy and always has been for parents. When you are a teenager and are going through college, you think your life is crazy, and it probably is, but parents have work and their kids. Having kids and taking care of them is full-time work in itself and some parents may need help with them. If you love working with kids and need some extra money for school, try babysitting or being a nanny for the summer. It pays very well and if it is something you love doing, you can make your own business out of it.

If you like working with kids who have disabilities, you are likely to find a position in that area. By working in schools and special homes, depending on the severity of the disability, you can work with them and help them with their school work. There are some cases in which the severity of the disability is very low and they may just need help in school because they are falling behind. This would look very impressive on a resume of someone who would someday like to be an intervention specialist teacher and it would give them good practice as well as a look to see what their opportunities would be like.

There are not only young ones who need babysitters and ones with disabilities, there are also older people who may need your help getting around, doing laundry, cooking meals, or going to get their groceries. Older people get very frail as they age and they need more help doing the things that they could once do by themselves and they may get extremely frustrated by this. If they want your help, it would be a huge weight off of their shoulders if you simply went out and did their shopping for them and cooked them a few meals.

There are many different types of care giving jobs. There may be someone who got in an accident and will be on bed rest for a while or maybe someone who is in a wheelchair. Unfortunately, there are many situations in which people cannot do the things they used to. It would be nice for them to know that someone cared enough to help them out once in a while
