All Types of Tires
According to the producers, there is a huge abundance of different tires. But for the ordinary chauffeur, he or she can pick out between four major types of tires. So in this sense, I want to present you the most valuable features of each one of them.
The summer tire is the one that can be found with one of those names: High, Ultra- High, or Grand & Tour summer performance. In fact, those are three different subcategories of tires. The first one is used for ordinary use in city conditions, naturally during the summer. So in this case, their grippers are made from very strong and firm materials in order to be achieved sufficient solidness. This hardness is necessary because the asphalt of the highways or town roads can reach quite high degrees of the temperature, something possible indebt to the incessant warming up from the sun. Indeed, each one of the three subtypes possesses firm grabs, but in this case they are even firmer. The Grand & Tour ones are used from the racers. What is more, they are profitable in terrain conditions like deserts, tropical places and so on. By having them you will be able to attain excellent traction in mud and dirt, excluding the hard travelling pavements. The Ultra-High summer performance tires are made for the purpose to have the properties of the other two subcategories. Frankly, their implementation is not as qualitative as the one performed by the other summer tires.
The next type of tires, which is the light one, resembles the subtype of the summer ones, Grand & Tour. Just like them, the light trucks can be used on muddy and dirty road surfaces. Moreover, they are perfect means for uneven terrains as well. The difference is that, they are meant to be profitable for other purposes because they can endure overloading. For example, the agronomists use that kind of tires. They are inappropriate for racings because the size of the light truck is bigger than this of the Grand and Tour.
The all season tire is a category, which contributes for the excellent implementation in wide range of climate conditions and terrains. Their treads are neither super hard nor extremely soft. De facto, when the temperatures are quite high, they have the ability to harden. Consequently, the all season tires will resist the high degrees of the summer. As a matter of fact, they possess the property to be softer, in case the road surfaces are wet or slippery. So in this sense, an excellent traction for colder weather conditions is achieved. The only season, which they cannot conquer, is the winter one. Hence, the last one type, the snow tires, is invented for this reason.
To make the best choice when at the tire store, you should simply consider the weather in the area where you live. Furthermore, consider the way you drive, because this mainly influences the tread life of your new car tires.
