I remember rolling down the street during high school in my nasty, grey Honda with the sun roof and pull-out stereo. I was blasting Garage Days Revisited by Metallica as loud as I could with the windows down. The car was crap but the person I bought it from decided to go cheap on the engine, transmission, etc but make sure to put in really big speakers. Gotta love high school priorities. I\’m not sure who I was playing the brutal riffs (still one of my favorite metal albums) for since we lived in suburbia hell but I just had this deep feeling that it was the right thing to do and at 17, I was right. That\’s the true mark of mid to late teen years…an intense desire to have all eyes on you. That\’s why we made the badge and we decided it should be exclusive. Let\’s take a look at what that means.

When you first get an account on prepSportFantasy.com, you\’ll be able to trick out your profile page whether you\’re a high school sports player or fan. There\’s lot of stuff you can do there to make it your own and ultimately, this is just your key into fantasy league action but it\’s still cool to see what\’s there. One of the main areas is the prep sport badge zone. This is where you get to dress up the profile from a range of different animated badges to show off what you\’re into. We\’re even looking at allowing customized badges that the community members can create. We\’re really excited to see that roll out. In the meantime, we\’ll continue to bring out more and more badges for each sport and our special category that the \”All Eyes On Me\” badges belongs to. The exclusive badges are not available to everyone and are generally first come first serve wrapped around a certain event. It could be the start of the new Football Fantasy League game or winners/participants in one of our Best Of Categories. They\’re called exclusive for a reason and they will disappear once a certain number is hit.

Now on to \”All Eyes on Me\”. This badge celebrates the first 2000 accounts that sign up on the system. There\’s an even more exclusive badge called \”Pioneer\” for the first 1000 accounts and those badge owners will also get access to the \”All Eyes on Me\” badge. Some people just have to be first. Who\’s to say what the motivation is. Maybe they don\’t have a sense of fear or they\’re adrenaline junkies. Whether it\’s exploring a super cave or jumping into a new website like prepsportfantasy, you have to respect the showboaters out there who thrive on being first and being watched as the rest of us gawk. Once the path is beaten down, it\’s easy for the rest of us to follow and we always do. But we want the \”All Eyes On Me\” badge to celebrate those who go first as we watch from the sidelines. Yea, some of you aren\’t going to make it to age 21 but for the ones that do…we\’ll all be watching.
