SO HOW DO YOU USE IT?

1. Talk to a personnel where you bought your water test strips. Water test strips have been made by various companies and dealers. Be certain that you are made familiar to its specifications.

2. Read the instructions on the back of the container. You should also have a manual with you. This manual or booklet will tell you how to alter your chemical levels.

3. Take a strip and dip it into the water. Make sure that the strip is fully submerged when you do this. Dipping only a part of it will prove ineffective.

4. Let the water test strip stay in the water for about 5-10 seconds. This will give the strip the opportunity to obtain accurate readings. After the said time, take it out of the water and do one firm shake to get rid of the excess water.

5. Compare the colors with the colors that are imprinted on the back of your water test strips’ packaging. This is the most important part. This will give you the results that you need to adjust your pool or spa’s chemicals so make sure that you read the upshot correctly.
