Why Should I Use Vinegar as a Natural Cleanser?
People nowadays want to use things such as household cleansers that are convenient to use and doesn’t have to be complicated regardless of the negative effects that they would bring to our health. Most of these stuffs are chemical based which are harmful to humans as well as to the environment. But why would they care? Everybody uses these stuffs as they help in getting the job done much faster.
Green cleaning is the term used when we intend to do everything by natural means. This means that we should only use cleansers and methods that are environment friendly. Not only will our environment benefit from our green cleaning, in return we will have fresh air and a house that is free from toxins and any chemical residue. It is something that should have been done a long time ago since natural cleansers have been around as long as we would care to remember. However, it is not yet too late to start doing the right and ideal way of cleaning your house.
We tend to forget that we need not to look far in order to get that kind of convenience and effectiveness that we need. All we have to do is to look around in our kitchen for those useful things like the white vinegar. We always overlook the natural property of white vinegar and how effective it can be in cleaning and disinfecting our house as well as our appliances, cars, and many other things. It is also good for shining glasses as it removes oil and dirt, most metal surface and even windows. It is also more practical to use vinegar than the commercial cleansers as it is inexpensive yet has the cleaning strength equal to the conventional cleansers.
Aside from vinegar, there are also some household cleansers that are useful when it comes to green cleaning. These are lemons and baking soda which both have special capabilities in cleaning stuffs. Lemons are also high in acidity level which makes them good for cleaning and disinfecting areas that are infested by stain, germs and bacteria. Lemons have the same whitening ability with bleach except for the strong odor and the foul smell that bleach emits which can destroy your lungs. Baking soda on the other hand is used as a deodorizer aside from being an effective cleanser. You can now say goodbye to tough-to-remove odors with the use of baking powder. You can also make a paste out of this and use it when you want to clean something as it can be as good as any chemical cleanser.
Aside from its uses it also contributes a lot to the welfare of our environment as it doesn’t have any toxic residue or pollutants that may bring harm to Mother Nature. Although it has a strong odor, it’s not like bleach which is harmful to our lungs when inhaled. Vinegar is guaranteed to be safe as it is popularly used on our food. Not only is it safe to humans but also to our pets.
