Your own network marketing business can be very rewarding, especially because you create residual income for yourself. If you don’t know, residual income is money that keeps coming in for work you did in the past.

It can help you to quit the job you hate, create considerable income for you and your family, create time to do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it.

However! Nothing good, rewarding and lucrative is easy. Building your own business online? Simple but not easy.

INFORMATION OVERLOAD!

Getting started in your network marketing business takes considerable work, planning and sorting through mountains of information.
Not only are you trying to figure out the best methods of being successful, there are four trillion and three other distractions that rear their ugly heads to \”help\” you to forget where the heck you were.

Every Tom, Dick and Harriet are vying for your attention and although you might be the smartest dude(ette) in the room, that cabbage sitting on your shoulders can only hold so much water.

Well, I\’ve been there and still I find myself in \”overload\” situations every now and then. The key is organization. Now organization entails a LOT of different things. It\’s not just do this, do that, then do this. It\’s MUCH more. You need a system.

Where Have I Been and What Did I Do When I Was There?

When you attempt to work on the internet you will find yourself saying that and wondering how the heck you got where you are at any particular moment. It\’s called \”Information Overload\” and EVERYONE suffers from it at one time or another to varying degrees.

I don\’t know that warning you about it will help to keep you from it, no let me re-word that: Warning you WILL NOT help you to avoid \”information overload\”, but I think making you aware of it will help somewhat. You need a system.

A lot of people who decide to get involved in network marketing don\’t know exactly what that business will be. How they will market, whether online, offline or both How do I build a website? And many more questions. These are all legitimate questions that need to be answered. You need a system.

I must have subscribed to hundreds of newsletters over the last few years. On the flipside I\’ve also UNsubscribed to hundreds of newsletters. Not that there was anything wrong with them but that is partly where that dreaded \”Information Overload\” comes from.

Where you are in your network marketing business process will tell you what you need to start with. You may have just decided to do it and are doing a little research. You may have a general idea of what you want to do.

You may or may not have a place to conduct your business as of yet. Only you know exactly where you are in your planning. You need a system.
Whether you’ve been in network marketing before or you’re brand new one thing is for sure. That is your mindset towards prospecting. How are you going to handle the fact that about 95-97% of the people you come in contact with WILL NOT want to join you in your march to financial and time freedom.

If you get your mind straight from the very beginning, how you are going to approach this process, it will increase your chance of success significantly. Oh and I don’t know if I mentioned it but… You need a system.
