Cell Phones: The Good, Bad and Plain Ugly

Cell phones: The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Cell phone have been around long enough that people in their mid 20\’s can remember a time where there wasn\’t any of them. So the main reason that the people have turned to the is because of the benefit of making life easier.

I think that cell phone or mobile phones have do a lot of good for people in general from connecting people who are far apart to helping someone in an emergency who need to get help quick. I wanted to write a document that goes over the pros and cons of cell phone because it has really been playing on my mind of late and I feel I have something to say.

The Good:

Since the adaption of the cell phone in 15 years ago ( it was around longer than this though) some of the benefits of this technology is connecting people that my haven\’t had a chance to talk to each in a long time. The convenience if being able to have Internet access in your had is great, and having a camera can be very handy too if your phone has this feature which has almost become a unspoken standard on mobile devices. Prices on cell phones have come down drastically in the last 6 years so this has enabled everyone to be able to afford on in some capacity.

The bad:

Devices change specifications a lot and this can make you feel compelled to want to upgrade to a newer devices often, forcing a large additional cost on a yearly basis, if you can force yourself to not upgrade sooner. The cost of do these upgrades on a average smart phone is between $250 and $400 out of pocket. Even if you get a “Free” phone the phone is well and truly paid for under the lengthy contract.
Many devices these day only have a one year or less contract on them this can certainly be aproblem as the companies that manufacture them are using less quality in parts as time goes on and the phone don\’t last a year.

The Ugly:

Cell phones can be used to track your every move, there for making the world a very hard place to get away with out someone knowing your were abouts. There are many unknowns about about radiation exposure, very much seems to be a subject that all the major phone companies and phone manufactures are avoiding. Technologies that have come out in the past have been exposed in years to come to have caused serious health issues, and many people fear that this may be the case too for the beloved and well embraced cell phone. Since mobile devices have been around people have ended relationship via text message, or things have been taken the wrong way because a person can\’t tell the tone of someones voice.

So like anything in this world there are good and bads, some are unknown and some are blatantly obviously fantastic.
