We all know it’s very difficult to obtain a job after committing a crime and having that past mistake stop you in your tracks where ever you go. But it’s not all doom and gloom, let’s take a look at the top 5 jobs for felons to see all the great opportunities available to you.

1. The Food Service Industry – When it comes to this line of work whether it be working as a waiter, door man, counter staff or cleaner there are lots of openings to look at. And one advantage is if you get to work in the more up market hotels or bars you can earn some extra income on tips alone. There are always jobs within this industry so give it a go.

2. Sales Department Within Stores – Are you a great talker, could you sell ice to exskimos than a sales job could be a real opportunity for you. For me personally this is the best option and it offers many different opportunities that are all under your total control.

How about putting together your own website and becoming an affiliate marketer by promoting other peoples products. How about becoming an ebay seller and building your empire on that platform.

All of these options will allow you to not only work from home but do as many or as little hours work as you choose. Obviously the more driven and committed you are the better chance you have of succeeding. Working at home on your own business isn’t for everyone but there are lots of different opportunities out there as we have discussed.
