If you\’ve read an article somewhere on the internet that told you that you can make a great deal of money by starting a forum, well that is certainly true. If in the same article it said that a forum can also increase your present websites traffic flow tremendously, well that part is also true. If that very same article also informed you that a forum would help the SEO for your website, once again, sorry to say, that is also true.

But, this article is not about all the reasons forums are great huge money makers; it is about why under no circumstances should you ever consider starting one. Look at it this way, why would you ever want to work as hard as it is required to get a forum off the ground and turn it into a million dollar money making machine?

Yes, forums can be started for as little as $10, and then later be sold for a million or two. But seriously, to do that you will have to work really hard at it for a long period of time, do you think you are really up to the task? After all, most people just give up after the first couple of months if their forum does not magically turn into an overnight cash generating sensation.

You do realize, you will have to pay rent until you forum gets going. Don\’t forget about eating, you will still need to do it. Then there are those nasty utility bills that seem to come every month, they will still need to be paid.

Yes, of course someday it could certainly make you a $100,000 or more a month. But, what about in the beginning, when you will have to have two full time jobs? One to pay the bills; and the other one working on your forum every waking hour until it can pay the bills for you.

It is not worth it, because it is way too much work. Yes, someday you will be able to travel around the world and stay in five star hotel rooms everywhere you go. But, what about when you first start when you will have to work like a dog, all day and night just to get it going.

Yes, you will someday be able to live in any house you want, and be able to afford even the most expensive car. But, it is not going to be easy, which is exactly why everybody does not do it.

Seriously, please do not ever, but ever think about starting a forum. Having all the money in the world is not worth the time, effort, and energy you will have to put into promoting and operating it until it becomes extremely lucrative.

Look, everybody wants to get rich. It is much better to just look around for the next \”get rich scheme\” that comes along, than trying to copy a tried and true method of becoming prosperous that has be done time and again by some of the wealthiest internet entrepreneurs. With that being said… Go and get yourself a free forum as soon as possible, you will be happy you did.
