Secrets to Get Six Pack Abs Now Revealed

I have the opportunity of being interviewed by the infamous fitness professional, Geovanni Derice, from NYC recently and he revealed secrets on how to get six pack abs in no time at all. For those who are on a diet, you will definitely love what I am going to share with you today so that you will be able to remove the stubborn stomach fat that settled in your body for a long time.

GD: Welcome to our special 4-ever-Toned Fitness Journal, Mike. Please tell us something about yourself and how you can help our readers who are interested with fitness and health.

MG: Thanks for having me here, Geo. Well, I have been involved in both fitness and sports for 17 years already. I took the liking to sports when I was a teenager. While I was developing my athletic prowess in high school, I also got interested in strength training as well as conditioning.

During that time, I began to feel more energetic and it also improved my physical look and this is the reason why I got hooked with fitness and sports. I am now 33 years old and I am still hooked with living a healthy lifestyle. Living like this became my mantra and it definitely makes me feel youthful, strong and confident despite my ages.

When I was in my early 20’s, I decided to commit in helping people who want to live healthy and fit lifestyles. I wanted to help people who want to get out or avoid obesity. By doing so, I want people to avoid getting the risk of getting heart diseases, cancer, depression, heart attack and other malaise. This is the reason why I became a fitness profession. When I help others, I feel very satisfied. I feel happy when I see people seeing results after years of struggling with different diet and exercise regimen.

Through the years, I have expanded my goals and I no longer do personal training but I also reach other people all over the world through the internet. I do hope that my passion for living a healthy life will inspire a lot of people to act and start living healthy.

GD: There are a lot of things in the market these days that claim that they work. If you should need to pick three things that work infallibly to get six pack abs, what would these be?

MG:The most important thing to help you loose your belly fat is through having a healthy diet. Doing abdominal exercises is important but it is really your diet that plays a big role in helping you loose your body fat thus you end up having leaner abs.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people and groups that claim about their diet plans being effective. Moreover, we also are bombarded with the media about what is healthy as well as what is not. Coupled with the gimmicky diet books that teaches you to drop the carbs, fat, eat high protein, go vegetarian, fasting and liquid diets; it is really difficult to know which one is telling the truth and which one is full of lies. This makes it very difficult for people to know where to start.

Another great thing is to focus on your workout. Make sure that you focus on working with your whole body thus while standing abdominal exercises are great, it is still important to do other exercises. By doing these exercises, you will be able to increase your metabolism.

In order for you to get lean stomach, the exercises should have high intensity with short rest periods. It is important to target the large muscle groups in the body thus doing abdominal exercises is also great. Moreover, it is equally important to also focus on small muscles in the body.

Lastly, it is important that you train your abs. When you train the abs, it is important that you do a lot of abdominal exercises such as sit ups and crunches. However, as you increase the intensity of your exercises, these common exercises will no longer work thus aside from crunches, you need to do other standing abdominal exercises that will help develop resistance to your stomach.

GD: What do you think are people doing room when it comes to achieving the six pack abs?

MG: I know this may sound funny but are you ready for the reason why people are doing it wrong?

The thing here is that they focus a lot of time on training their abs! Sounds paradoxical, right? But spending too much on abs training can have its setback.

Take note that if you have a flat and visible six pack abs, it is important that you know how to get a low body fat percentage. To do so, make sure that your work out will focus on stimulating the fat burning hormonal environment within your body. It is also very important that you increase your metabolic rate. This rarely happens if you focus a lot of time in training small groups of muscle like the abs. You need to focus on your entire body!

It is important that you focus on the large muscle groups in your body such as your legs, chest and back. This helps stimulate your metabolism thus you burn fat more and faster.

GD: Which exercises should people do if they want to get great midsection?

MG: if you want to develop your abs, then it is important that you do standing abdominal exercises. It also pays to do floor abs exercises such as lying leg thrusts which are all described in my book.

On the other hand, it is also important to take note that if you want to get a great midsection in your abs, then you need to do various forms of snatches and swings. Effective exercise regimen can include using dumbbell or kettlebell. You can also do dead lifts, squats, lunges, clean and presses, sprinting and other full body exercises. So when want to get flat abs, focus on these training exercises than those that focus only on the abs.

GD:What about the diet? A lot of people have tried a lot of ways but fail in the end. Can you recommend some diet plan that will help people loose their body fats and then keep it off?

MG: I included an in-depth discussion of that particular topic in my book. But to make simple generalizations, it is important to eat natural and unprocessed food as much as possible. Eating overprocessed foods can be very unhealthy and it simply destroys the metabolism as well as hormone balance in the body.

I always tell people to eat whole grains instead of fine grains. If you can get hands on sprouted grains, then it is a better option. On the other hand, I always encourage people to eat natural sugar from fruits instead of refined sugar. About oil, you can try natural sources like nuts, fish, egg, coconut milk and other instead of refined and hydrogenated vegetable oils.

The thing here is that it is important that you don’t fall in gimmick diet plans such as taking low carbohydrates, fat, high protein and other combinations the fact that this will definitely deprive your body from the macronutrients that it needs.

Your body needs nutrients in order to be healthy. Such important molecules include vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. If you cut an entire food group, then you work against your body thus your body suffers and undergo a lot of reaction. I have a detail on this topic on my book so you might want to check it out.
