Risks of Neural Kinesiology
The Autonomic Nervous System or ANS is considered as one of the most vital system of the body as it holds much of the control over the physical constitution of a human being. It is regarded as the primary regulator of the various functions of the body including the response to critical situations, food digestion, and increase on the flow of blood throughout the body. There are many types of bodywork treatments that address manipulation and stimulation techniques on the nervous system as a part of the whole healing and restoration process.
Neural Kinesiology is a systematic healing modality that was designed to cure chronic pain, common ailments and severe conditions through the combined techniques of applied kinesiology and neural therapy. It is quite popular due to its safe and gentle approach when it comes to dealing with the patient.
The therapy was developed by Dietrich Klinghardt and Louisa Williams who both contributed all of the necessary and essential facts, principles, and practices in order to create a whole new and improved therapy that will suit our medical needs. The natural treatment that they have designed was intended to be a safe alternative for people who are having intensive treatments in eliminating pain and discomfort.
Neural Kinesiology is used in many clinical settings, hospitals, and even on massage spas as it provides proper healing and recovery on many patients. Although it has not gained as much fame and recognition to its work as compared to the others, it is still being valued as an alternative that is much less painful and quite safer than the modern medical care. In terms of techniques and practices, the therapy uses both muscle testing and neural therapy that are both proven to be safe in dealing with the human anatomy and the medical condition that is causing problems to the physical constitution of the client.
The therapy however is not exempted with the risks of inflicting physical damage to the client during the therapy session. Although most of the therapist who are performing Neural Kinesiology are certified and highly trained professionals, there is no assurance that it is 100% guaranteed to be safe and without any sort of danger at all. I would agree that muscle testing does not affect the body and leaves no harm due to its approach and the way it is being used during the physical evaluation. On the other hand, neural therapy which is done in the process of inserting or injecting medicine on the body of the patient to alleviate or completely get rid of painful conditions can cause health problems when done in the wrong way. Regardless of the expertise of the therapist or practitioner, it is still possible to have risks and dangers lurking just around the corner with every therapy session. In fairness to the alternative medical care though, there has been no substantial or significant report pertaining to accidents done during therapy sessions of Neural Kinesiology. In addition, most of the patients who had treatment with these techniques were happy and satisfied with the health results.
