Living in a Manchester city centre property has lots of benefits, and a lot of these benefits come down to personal preference. City centre areas tend to appeal to students, graduates and young professionals because they are near to all of the hustle and bustle of city life and don’t have a long way to commute to work.

Manchester also has hundreds of parks and gardens so without travelling too far you can escape from city life and find somewhere tranquil.

Cities also have an abundance of employment opportunities compared to smaller areas or smaller towns, so you are more likely to find work and won’t have a long commute to your job either. If you live especially close to your place for work, you can head home for your lunch break instead of splashing cash every lunch time on sandwiches or meals out. The city also is home to Granada Television headquarters, and just a short tram ride away in Salford BBC has set up a new HQ moving a lot of its job opportunities to Manchester from London.

The city is huge for sport as it’s host to two very successful premier league football teams, Manchester United, which has the largest football ground in the UK, and Manchester City, the richest football company in the world.
