But the problem with most people when it comes to setting a time limit is that they think their body can workout intensely in a short duration of time. It is important to remember that your body will not be able to withstand too much of exercising, especially in a short span of time. You must allow your body to adapt to the exercise routine over a gradual period of time and that too under expert supervision.
High intensity and short duration combination – a dangerous one
If you think that you can start exercising rigorously in a shorter span of time to make up for time less spent on exercising, you probably need to rethink your personal fitness regime. You may be trying to save time, but you are surely paving the way for more fatigue and stress in your life. Combining high intensity exercises with a short time schedule is a dangerous one and a good personal trainer would never recommend you that. Instead, your workouts should include a good timetable that allows you to slowly accentuate your exercise routine to include low-intensity as well as high-intensity exercises.
Maximize energy usage and not time spent in the gym
The idea behind exercising should be to enhance energy usage in the body. If you think increasing the time spent in the gym will be useful, it is definitely not going to help. Often, people think that if they spend more time exercising, their health will improve and they will have higher fitness levels. This misconception can be cleared from the fact that the more time you spend doing one activity, the more you get bored of it. The best way out of this situation would be to combine a variety of exercises and also keep a good time check on the daily exercise routine.
