The agents would be trained to take orders, but also to close sales and even up-sell if you have additional, unadvertised products.
An outgoing sales project would require you to purchase a calling list. This will only be useful if you have a very clear idea of your target market. You can then purchase a list meeting your criteria. You can filter call lists by a range of factors, such as age, sex, income, postal code, phone code, just to name a few. This type of project usually demands high quality sales people as it is generally cold calling.
Some call centres also provide fulfillment services. This means that they are equipped to conduct the follow up work to the phone call. That could mean sending out products that have been purchased through a sales project or the thank you gift card that goes out after a customer service survey call. Through creative use of call centre services, it can be possible to outsource much of your company\’s work flow.
