East Boca Raton Neighborhoods Zoned For Addison Mizner Elementary

Carriage Hill is a unique, one of a kind waterfront community in Boca Raton, FL. This neighborhood is located in East Boca off of Dixie HIghway and 18th Street. This area is very convenient to the beaches, Mizner Park, downtown Boca areas, Boca Raton Resort, and I-95.

Carriage Hill is well known for the luxury homes, well manicured lawns, and the community’s ideal location. These luxury homes in Boca Raton sit on larger lots than are usually found in east Boca. The homes here typically feature opulent architecture, marble or cherry wood flooring, grand foyer entries, large pools, and tropical landscape. Boca Raton Square is comprised of single family homes ranging in price anywhere from $157,000 to $440,000. The area is located just west of Carriage Hill and south of Estoville. The homes in this community are typically one story homes ranging in size anywhere from 1500-3000 square feet. Many have pools, private patios, and expansive lawns.

Library Commons is a planned community located in downtown Boca Raton. This community consists of beautiful homes and some condo units located between Palmetto Park Road and Glades Road along SW 2nd Avenue. This area is in East Boca, conveniently close to the downtown Mizner area and about 1.5 miles from the beaches.

This area is close to A rated public and private schools and an excellent hospital system (Boca Raton Community Hospital). In fact, the Library Commons area is convenient to nearly everything in Boca Raton!

Last, but not least, is a neighborhood located just west of Library Commons, Old Floresta.

Old Floresta Historic District is a beautiful, prestigious area in one of the best locations in east Boca Raton. This historic community is located off of Palmetto Park Road, just about 1 mile west of Dixie Highway in the heart of Boca Raton. This area is home to many historic, premier estates which were designed in the late 1920s by Addison Mizner when he created an area for executives, family, and friends to stay while visiting the area.

The Old Floresta Historic District is characterized by narrow neighborhood streets with an over hanging tropical canopy, manicured lawns, and vintage style historic mansions. This older neighborhood is infused with character, community, and opulence and is one of the oldest districts in Boca Raton. Though most of the homes have been remodeled, updated, or completely rebuilt since Mizner’s tenure here, many of these estates still include the original homes and/or exquisite architectural details created by Addison Mizner.
