The advantage of digital printing is that it is faster and cheaper than any traditional printing methods but has the same or sometimes more quality. Digital printing is done by inkjet or laser printers and the advantage is that this can be printed onto almost any surface in addition of paper. Therefore, almost any thin can be printed onto fabric, metal, wood, ceramic, plastic, glass and etc.

One type of photographic gifts is printing photographs onto fabrics. Photographs are printed and presented on almost any garment such as T-shirts, trousers, pillow cases, handkerchiefs, and even bed spreads. It is used as an attractive advertising method too.

A photograph printed on ceramic is another popular souvenir trend. Photo printed tea mugs, plates, wall/floor tiles are trendy, long lasting ant attractive. Photographic printed plastic has so many variations. Personalized key tags, mobile phone covers, pens, USB flash drives, etc. Because of the wide usage of plastic, anything that contains plastic can be turned into a personalized photographic gift.
