Get A Bluetooth Car Kit Already!!! – Oh And It ALSO Works With You Gaming Units!!!

Ever try to enter or exit in traffic to find one wonderful driver (just a little sarcasm) screwing up the whole “flow” of the road? Then, finally you get around them and… SURPRISE… they’re on the cell phone. Pure frustration! Anger! Face it, as much as we despise these individuals, let’s be honest, we have all been that person.

Well, here is the solution… either turn your phone off when you get in the car (and we all know that will never happen) OR get yourself a Bluetooth. And guess what, you do not need something jammed in your ear making you look like you have just left the Trecky convention. This in-car technology has been around for a while – you do not need to worry about which FM station you are on and you do not need a 3.5mm AUX connection jack in your vehicle.

There are many affordable devices now that attach to your sun visor and link with your phones Bluetooth system… And they are REALLY good, surprisingly good. Our panel has tested several of these and here are the Bluetooth Car Kits that we liked:

Motorola T215:

The powerful 2 watt speaker overcame any road noise. Motorola touted up to 36 hours of talk time making this an ultra convenient device. As expected, it syncs with your device so you can talk hand’s-free. Also incredibly impressive was the “echo-reducing duplex technology\” – this allows others to hear us and hear us really well. Crazy in itself, there are up to 370 standby hours – not bad!!!

Motorola TX500:

In a completely different league when compared to the others. Also holding a 2 watt speaker and allowing up to 45 hours of talk time. This hand’s-free device connects up to 2 phones at once and pairs with up to 6 phones – NICE! Stand-by time – up to 6 months – that\’s industry leading! This device speaks to you to let you know you are connected, on mute, and battery level.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

These devices do not work through your car’s radio so there is no need to be concerned about what FM signal you are on. Also, there is no need to worry about having a 3.5mm audio AUX jack. Just about every cell phone out there nowadays has Bluetooth capabilities – and that’s all you need!

Not every state has laws in place regarding cell phone use, but they should and will. Regardless, these devices will not only save lives but also will save time and dollars. DO NOT be that driver detached from your duties on the road because the phone is propped up between your ear and shoulder! Hands-free calling lets you keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road, while your mobile phone uses the device to let you dial, answer and talk.

Not every vehicle has Bluetooth technology so here you go – get one, be safe, be responsible! Stow your phone in your glovebox, purse, or pocket and let your Bluetooth headset handle the rest.
